If it doesn't challenge you, it doesn't change you.
If you've ever received an email from me, walked past my office, or read any of my previous Coach Notes, you've probably noticed this quote. It is one of my favorites because I find it to be SO TRUE! Whether it's your professional life, or personal life, your challenges offer a chance to change something in your life. The best part? You can choose how it changes you.
Think about your professional goal. After completing the self-evaluation rubric with Charlotte Danielson's Standards for Professional Practice, you looked at areas you wanted to improve. I'm guessing these are the same areas that are challenging for you?! For me, it's communication. I'm constantly trying to figure out how to best communicate with you, determine what's most important and relevant, and help you see outside the four walls of your classroom.
So, here you go! I'm turning my challenge into this blog with the goal to improve (change) my communication. I love trying new things ||hence the "original Coach Notes & Coach Notes via Microsoft Sway|| but I am planning on this blog being my tool for the rest of the year. I am ALWAYS open to feedback and would love to hear how this blog can help you grow in this wild adventure in education!
